    A sculptural chunky ring, beautifully designed to be comfortable to wear. A Limited Edition in Sterling Silver or Gold Vermeil.

     

    Vermeil is a technique originating in the 19th century, where gold was applied to sterling silver. Gold vermeil is also made through the gold plating technique but requires a thicker layer of gold. In this case, the gold layer is 2.5 microns.

As someone who does not buy jewellery frequently, it is so good to find such original work from MèRIDESIGNS.  Not only is the workmanship excellent but the designs are so wearable as well as being unusual and individual. The bracelets I bought are being worn day and evening and are often admired. It has been difficult to find a ring to fit my short fingers but I now have had one made specifically for me which remains on my hand constantly.  The designs are so influenced by nature that the squiggle gold brooch can be worn on everything.  I am so pleased to have found such an inspirational designer.
